3 event rodeo gedling for sae/trade
I have a NICE 14 yr old AQHA reg. gelding, sorrel star & strip white on hind legs. Very calm and easy going GREAT mind. He is a 2d/3d NBHA, youth rodeo, jack pot money earner, runs 23-25 sec pole bending times (depending on arena size/ top 4 EVERy run) and 8 sec goat tying times( in the money every run. He also competes on rodeo drill team and trial rides can take him out alone or with other horses. Very good guy not spooky at all. Im looking for a 1d/2d barrel horse thats NOT hot and crazy a little is understandable ,but ive had my share of those. Also would prefer at least 15hh.I just turned 20 so i cant compete in youth rodeo( poles and goats,this is where you find the most competeions) And i married a bull rider we want to compete in the same assocaiton so NBHA wont work for me- Would also consider trading for a good truck to haul trailer with/ or a nice breakaway horse. Barrel Horse prospect
He is registered brown but looks black with small white star! He has a sweet temperament, very gentle, easy to handle. He will make a great barrel prospect. He has had a lot of ground work and trail riding time. He has been through water and mud and through a herd of cattle. Has been lightly started on the barrels last summer at a walk/trot. He would just need someone to continue on with him. I will start hauling him again this spring. He flexes nice and responds to leg pressure, and leads great. Pays attention to where you are at. If you stop he stops, if you back up he backs up with you with no pressure on the lead rope at all. Some times with no halter and leader rope needed at all. He loads, trailer ties and tether line ties, bathes, lunges, blanketed. No bad habits. Finish your way. He is sound and current on his dental work, shots, coggins, worming and ferrier work.
